Dynamics 365 Business Central: what is the impact for developers and partners?

    As we had a big change with RTC now another ones comes. Seems like every 10 years.

    @txeriff It is so very much different this time. It is not only a new client to which we need to get used to. It is an entirely new programming paradigm, entirely new concept of servicing customers via Microsoft app store, which removes close relationships between partners and their customers.

    The new environment, restrictions on modification of source code, and also details like the technical implementation of changes in table structures (aka accompanying tables) also does not help much existing business models.

    I agree on this but this is the future, perhaps this will be a massive bomb for consultancies but as developers i´m confident we will continue developing here or there.

    I don´t think MS will give code for free or arealdy built.
