SOAP UI and NAV

Lately I have been struggling using SOAP UI against NAV. I just can’t get it work.

• On one machine (Windows 10) I get the authentication working fine and a Read operation is OK. But then the ReadMultiple doesn’t seem to do anything. Likewise the ReadByRecId.
• On another machine (Windows Server 2016) can’t even get the authentication working.
• On both machines no problem accessing the WDSL. Saving it to file, it can be imported into SOAP UI.

No much relevant to find on the fora, so now I am somewhat stuck after trying for hours.

Anyone who can give me a hand? Thanx.

Thanx, AK. Maybe you can explain what I need to install. There is no normal download button. Only "download archive" which contains a lot of things I do understand.
Update: found the latest here: https://github.com/adnanmasood/WebServiceStudio/releases.

Yessss, this is doing what expected from SOAP UI, but that didn't do it. A big THANX, AK.

Hi Luc,

Normally I set the property use NTLM authentication for the service tier. Then using the the same authentication type in SOAP UI. most of the time it works.

Haha, "most of the time". Sounds a bit like my experience. I had expected SOAP UI to do it, but it didn't.

I personally prefer Postman, though, it will require some more manual work when working with soap.
