Hi,
I have a question regarding a setup we are doing at a customer.

We currently have an installation with a HO database running SQL and NAV 2009 clients. Then we have stores running Native DB and NAV 2009 R2 clients. This has worked fine.

Now we are moving one of the stores to a SQL DB instead, but keeping the R2 clients with SQL instead.

When configuring the Data Director (2.28.5) we are having issues getting this to connect to the new SQL database. I have changed the cfront library in the distribution location card and the version, but I keep getting that the version of the database is of a newer type and that I need to upgrade my client.

If I change all the settings on the distribution location card and try to connect to a database that is not converted to an R2 database I get that I need to convert the database to R2 version.

So, the settings on the distribution location is doing something, but it is not working as intended. Anyone have any bright ideas?

what error message do you get when DD Test connection ?
