accounting schedule year to date reports wrong numbers navision 5.0

in NAV/Navision Classic Client
good day,

year to date column layout in accounting schedule for dynamics Navision 5.0 pulls out numbers that include previous year data and data till current period. the comparison date formula is left empty, but still does not pick up based on the date filter provided. any help. month to date works ( comparision date formula is left empty ) and also month to date previous year and previous year to date work ( comparision date formula is set to -1Y ) . tried changing that to comparision period and used FY[1..CP], but no luck. any guidance will be very helpful on where to begin.

    tried adding a new column layout and still the same problem. year to date always shows total of 2017 and 2018 till the current period based on the date filter provided.

    tried the below and still no luck. the data that is showed is wrong. it doesnt pull out anything for the current year. we dont close our books in the system on a yearly basis.

    CM-1Y gives year to date for last year. leaving the field blank does not pull the right information.
    is there something similar to key in for the current year to date to show up.

    anyone? year to date does not work at all. tried creating a new schedule and applying a column layout. no luck still
