How do you use NavXtender as a webservice instead of drag & drop?

Has anyone setup or used NavXtender to accept POST or PUT requests from outside services? I would like to automatically attach files when they are generated in a service outside of NAV. We already have NavXtender installed and are using it in the traditional fashion.

The NavXtender codeunit is already setup as a webservice in our NAV environment but I cannot find any documentation for how to pass parameters and what request methods are accepted (POST, PUT).
