Using lanham pack line scanning with Assembly orders (advanced warehousing) Nav 2018

I have recently found that when a pick is registered for an assembly order, it is not recognised by Lanham e-ship (pack line scanning). This is because we are picking the components and not the finished goods. Does anyone know whether lanham can handle assembly orders in this way? If so, do we have to change the code or is there a setting or process which we can follow?
