Get results from web service and display the results in a page

Hi,
I have a page with a search string. When I enter a search string, OnValidate of the field, I call a codeunit which makes a call to a webservice and gets search results based on the string.
I would like to display these results on the page where I have given my search string. I have a lead to use temporary tables, but have not yet been able to succeed in it. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of functionality in Navision?
