.net MainWindowHandle - twain scanner

Hi,
i am trying to implement a .net assembly to integrate a twain scanner. To be able to aquire an image from an scanner i need to open the twain source selector.
This call needs the windowhandle, i tried to use .net System.Diagnostics -> MainWindowHandle, but every time the code is called the RTC client looses it connection to the server.
The .net variable property run on client is set to yes.
Is ther any limitataion regadring MainWindowHandle ?
Is there any workaround to get the windowhandle ?
