How to Fetch oAuth2 Access token from Javascript Client Control Add-in For external resource

I need to fetch access token for external endpoint from Azure AD .
I'm able to call the Token endpoint in Azure AD but the hand over to NAV page doesn't happen
I get the following error "Token renewal operation failed due to timeout"
I can even share the code for the same
