[SOLVED] NAV 2017/Windows Server 2008 RS printing problem

Hi all,
I know that Windows Server 2008 R2 is not supported by NAV 2017, but our hardware department tries to cut cost and I was asked to help. Here is the setup:
3 Windows Server 2016 Datacenter for database, service tier and terminal server, respectively. Everything works fine.
If Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter is used as terminal server, printing from NAV to network printers is skewed as if the font used is bigger. Preview looks fine. If a pdf of that report is created, it looks fine. If you print that pdf to the same network printer it is also fine.
The font used is just Arial and is present on all machines.
Has anyone a hint?
Thanks!

In a terminal server connection server printer is mapped to a local printer, and if there is no corresponding printer driver instaled the closest substitute is used.

There was an article written before (for NAV 2013) which could be related to this and it was an issue with Windows 2008 R2. If the issue is exactly the same, the solution requires a hotfix for Windows Server 2008 R2 and a server reboot.

Thank you, TheCrow, that seems to be the exact problem. This is a great help!0

The hotfix did the trick, thanks again!0

Cutting costs like that might cost you more money in the end because of incompatibilities, your (or others) support to make things work anyway, ....I know that Windows Server 2008 R2 is not supported by NAV 2017, but our hardware department tries to cut cost and I was asked to help.
