I am new to the community and to Navision development. We are starting a project that will extend Business Central. We are looking for resources for VL. For example, where can we find the list and ID's of all of the objects? It would be GREAT to find samples or code snippets for the following:

1. Adding a new Role in Role Center
2. Using custom controls
3. Tips and tricks for code organization (using Visual Code - the VL coding IDE)
4. Etc

Basically - anything related to getting started. Our team has a DEEP background in C#, Azure and related technologies. Just looking for something that bridges that knowledge base to Business Central (specifically) and Navision (generally).

It’s not a matter of DEEP knowledge of programming. It’s about DEEEEP knowledge of NAV! Otherwise don’t touch it.
If you don’t understand the application, you can’t extend it!

Beside the friendly advice, look at ms docs.
Also install NAV 2018 and look at that. Requires a licens.
