Viewing budgets in excel

Hi all ,
The problem is as follows .
We are running navision from a remote desktop .Now if i have to view budgets in excel how can it be done .The remote server on which navision is running does not have excel .

Hook up a laptop with Excel installed into the network, connect to the database and export your budget.
Other than that you'll have to write a dataport to do the work for you.

Like I said, you don't need to have excel on the server, as long as you have excel on the computer from which you connect to the database.

The computer to which you connect using Remote Desktop must have Excel installed.

May I ask why you don't simply install Excel only on the server?
