Service ticket printing through vpn

I have Navision 2.0 on a xp workstation connected via vpn to our navision server. A Microline 395 printer connected directly to my computer.
When I print a service ticket the job spools on my computer and just seems to hang there and nothing prints. Printer set for generic / text only.
Tried the Microline driver but it doesn't work either.
Thanks for any help.

    I would suggest:

Dump the output in a file and perform the dos command:
    COPY C:\Output.txt LPT1:

    or
    PRINT /D:LPT1 C:\Output.txt

Your last note, is that what was came out of the printer?

    You are printing PJL/PCL codes!

Are you sure, that your Microline printer is PCL compliant?
I am almost 100% sure, that OKI printers have their own language and are not PCL compliant.

    Am I right?

The funny thing is that my invoice printer is a hp laserjet (PCL). I can print invoices on the service printer and it works fine.
