Dear Friends,
As you know that there is no bar-code field in Item master. I want scan bar code value and store in No 2 field.
when user scan the bar code in sale order , the system should bring the item into sales line table.
Please advice
Warm Regards
Kris

Why not to handle this with Item Cross Reference Standard NAV feature.

Item Cross reference gives you 3 Options, Customer, Vendor and Bar Code.
What you want can be achieved by this I believe.
Thanks

Thee's no any limitation over customisation, you can whatever you want if it doesn't fulfil your need obviously, NAV can be fully customised.
Please verify the answer if you think it' meaningful. Thanks

Thanks, it is very good help and suggestion.
i think we have to copy all the cross reference code into new customized one, to implement this. Here I am not using 37 table but a customized table for other POS purpose.0 -
