form showing array values

I want to make a form (which is not based on any table) and use some kind of field, table box or whatever to save down values to an array.
I know I can use a multiline textbox and separate the values with "," but then I can't get more than 250 chars..
Could use some help :-s
EDIT: Hmmm, I guess I don't have to stick with 250 chars so I should be ok,
thanks for reading

1) You can have 1000 character text... (but not field, only variable)
2) See Item Tracking Form - it is not working with table (it is not filling any or reading directly) - but you can enter the data and they are saved into another table - you must only override standard functions with defining your own triggers...0
