Customer Ledger Entry Page Edit

Users can edit due dates of invoices from customer ledger entries page (if invoice is open). Is there anything wrong with this function? Can we let our users edit this data from cust ledger entry? By the way, external doc no can be edited too, should we prevent users from changing these data?

I believe Standard NAV allows this, that's why. Though I will never recommend this personally to modify on Ledger Entries directly but yes its Out of the Box NAV feature.

We created a new function to allow users to edit due date. The standard function allows editing due date on the customer ledger entry only. The due date in the posted documents remain the same and within the standard function it is not possible to change due date in posted documents - but it is often requested to print the invoice with the changed due date.
