Report by Email Sending Blank Body

When using inbuilt function File > Send > Report By Email in the spec above the email is generated with the report rendered in body however, when emailed the body is blank.
Currently working around this by saving the email after generated and then sending which retains the body.
Can't see any mention of this in any other forum so any advice would be much appreciated!
