I have a customer who needs to type in 6 decimal places. Everything I try is giving me a '5 Decimal' limitation. This client is on 2.6. Any suggestions? I know that this could be done in the past, what caused this change.
You can set the number of DecimalPlaces in the property of the database field to define the precision, but the displayed value is rounded according to the setting for the textbox. (See Help, DecimalPlaces)
When it concerns currency, you should look at the G/L Setup, Cureencies settings.
Thanks for your response. In 2.6 though this doesn't seem to work. We get the "5 Decimal Place" error. Have you gotten this to work in 2.6? We are stuck because your answer worked well in other versions. <img border="0" title="" alt="" src="images/smiles/icon_smile.gif" />

You are right it has to be defined on the field in the table in DecimalPlaces.
