Excel automation and Win XP SP2

Very weird problem:
When I fill excel by using a navision report, it takes about half a minute before the excel is completely loaded. The problem is situated in the set allignment/set pagesetup etc, BUT this problem only occurs at workstations with windows XP sp2. After deinstallation SP2 the problem is solved.
Can anybody tell me how to avoid this problem?
For now I am saved but someday we will have to use SP2 on all workstations.
