Word Templates MS Dynamics NAV 2016

Hello all members,

My customer was using NAV 5.0 and style sheet module to manage contract templates based on customer language and other criteria. Honnestly, I don't have any idea on this module, never used it. And now migrating to NAV2016 how should I handle this, using word templates? How can I do that based on specific criteria.

Stylesheets / export to word/excel work more-less the same in NAV 2016.

The functionality works by creating an XML file including fields defined on the page and applying a specific stylesheet, which is essentially a XSLT file, to the generated XML file, and passing the result to specific application.

There was a module available to help generating XSLT for Word. You can still get the NAV 2013 version of this StyleSheet Tool, which should work in NAV 2016 too.
