PowerBi and Nav

Trying to connect powerbi to Nav 2016 but getting frustrated. I do not know what I am doing wrong!

I have enabled the odata feed, got the url right and its working by checking it on the browser.

I got an access to power bi and I do Get Data -> Services-> Dynamics Nav, then typed in the url , authentication would be basic , here i tried windows login password and web access key password but nothing works at all!

I do not get any error message just it ends up spitting and think about it.

Please help me with this connection issue

Connection-type depends on the settings of the Credential Type-settings of the ServiceTier your are connecting to. Make sure that no firewall blocks the connection, the server accepts connections from your IP etc.

Hi,

I wouldn't change the Credential Type of the ServiceTier, because it has an effect on the User experience. I would change it only if I would have a dedicated ServiceTier.

The built-in PowerBI-Service is nothing else than a WebService using the page "Account Schedule KPI Web Service" and the Queries from 101 to 105.

So, you have to make sure that you are able to authenticate against a NAV-Web Service.

And, make sure that all of the Queries delivering data. Create the data if on the Queries doesn't deliver data.
