Performance Issue when Running Report in Dynamics NAV 2013

We have an issue when Printing reports in RTC time to time. Reports get delayed in rendering and previewing output for some users. There are two different set of users connect NST using terminal server and direct RTC connections. Terminal Server users are not getting any issues while others are experiencing preview issues time to time. Sometime the client got stuck and could not close even. Dynamics NAV version is 2013.

It is likely not the SQL Server performance problem.
The reports rendering problems are usually caused by suboptimum report construction, resulting in pulling lots of data and storing it in temporary files. This data has to be then transmitted to the rendering client.
Unfortunately there is no silver bullet to handle the problem. Report desing should be reviewed and as many lines should be filtered our (by means of filtering) as possible. If a report has includes pictures these should be moved or cleared after the first line to avoid repetition in each line and blowing up the temporary data storage.Slawek Guzek - www.yitron.co.uk

Yes it seems not an SQL Server performance issue. Then it has to be ,
1.Review the report. (But we do not do that because terminal server client users view the report without any issue)
2.Check for Network performance issues since there is data transmit between client and NST.

Hi
Some times, redirect printer may cause print or preview delay, you can try different printer including virtual printer, direct or indirect.0
