Error on opening Report Layout (SQL Report) in Dynamics NAV 2015

Hello,

I have enabled the Use Report Builder option from Tools > Options.

When opening the Report Layout from from View > Layout menu, I get the following error:



Not sure on the reason.

Hi

Where is this report originally from or designed?

One thing I would try is export this report object to text file and try to locate the "path"(I also not know what this is) and figure out if can do something directly in text file and import it back.

Hi,

The version is NAV 2015 and the reports execute perfectly.

Not sure in which version the reports were developed originally.

I will check for the path in text file as suggested, look for indicators and revert.

Hi,

I checked the text "path" in the file and the only text I found is as follows:
<rd:SchemaPath>Report.xsd</rd:SchemaPath>

The above line looks normal.

Any other possible reason for this issue?

Hi,

You can go to the Prerequisite Components folder for 2015 in the DVD and reinstall the Report Builder 3.0.

If you have installed NAV 2018 in the same machine that could be the reason. I had the same error after installing 2018 as the Report Builder is updated to the recent version which is not compatible with the previous NAV versions.
