It looks like the standard Data Exchange functionality does not support a generic export.
Is there in NAV 2017 a standard way of exporting an arbitrary table to a text file?

What about to use configuration packages to export table to Excel and then save it as CSV?
I have almost finished my own configurable exporter.. Just had some hope that there is something out of the box, which I am not aware of.

Check this https://www.archerpoint.com/blog/Posts/nav-2016-how-set-and-use-positive-pay-feature and this https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt574419(v=nav.90).aspx
But it's only available in NA localization and only for banks. You can't export an arbitrary table... But this might gives you some ideas (share them with us )
