Error renaming company

Hi,

I have restored our production database (navprod) as a new database (navdev) to act as our development platform and I am having trouble renaming the company name after restoring from both a SQL and Navision backup.

The error I get is the following:

"The following SQL Server error(s) occcured while accessing the Payment Terms table: 15333,"42000",[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Error: The qualified @oldname references a database (navdev) other than the current database."

Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error message?

Navision is not case sensitive when you open a database in SQL. If you try to rename you'll get this error because SQL. So what you need to do type the server and database name in correct case. Or just do a lookup and select the db.

I can't believe how much time I spent on this thing trying to do a SQL then a Navision backup and restore and then try and restore into a new company and a few other things, bla bla bla, it goes on. So thanks so much
