Special language character

Hi all,

What does it depend on showing special character in .txt doc when exporting NAV objects? I can use special character to define captions in NAV, but when I export object, notepad doesn't recognize it.

Special characters gets converted on export accoding to rules defined by your system code page. If you don't touch them and import text file back they should convert back to what they originally were.

The trouble is that some text editors, not sure about system Notepad, change the special characters on saving the file, and such a file after importing back to NAV can potentially produce funny characters in captions (or field names o in code - if you do use special characters in field names or in code)
