I have just started answering the "Exact process of development" question :)

It all depends on you what and how do you want to record in the systm. You need to start from defining busines/ accounting rules. Get an accountant and decide how and where to record the loan, how to record in in the system, tax matters, reporting, etc.

In the simplest form just use General Journal and post amount into dedicated G/L Account calles Loan, and a customer.

In my humble opinion it is not up to us to provide full business solution here.

Some years ago, I did a modification for a company that loans money to finance commercial insurance policies. It required a custom table for the loan amount, date, payment amount and terms, a custom page, and customisation of the customer card page. Also custom codeunits to be run daily to determine if a payment is due, and to post that, and reduce the loan amount. There was a custom invoice for loan payments and a custom statement. It was a significant effort but worked perfectly for the company.
