Excel Merge in NAV 2016

Hi,

I can merge columns via Excel interop (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Worksheet) . ( I used the tip in this https://saurav-nav.blogspot.com.tr/2012/05/navision-export-to-excel-with-merge.html).

this method requires that excel interop needs to be run on client on which Excel is installed. I want to merge fields via pure Open XML on the server side.

in the MSDN (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/documentformat.openxml.spreadsheet.mergecells(v=office.14).aspx ), there is an example for OpenXML spreadsheet. but I am not good at C#/.NET, so I can not convert it to pure C/AL code. especially I can not implement "worksheet.InsertAfter" method.

did anyone implement merging cells via openxml assemblies?
