Hi all, i have an issue. I want to print in my server a report to excel. In the server i don't have excel office and i don 't want to setup one. Is there any workaround something like the bullzip pdf printer?

A note i forgot to refer is that i am using Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic client.

Generally Classic Client requires Excel to be installed to be able to write any data in Excel format.

You could also try saving the report as HTLM, and opening the HTML in Excel. It works, but again if you need the output in Excel format to do some further calculations the data structure is not nice to work with, to say at least.

The printing to Excel might be vialbe option, providing that you find a printer driver which will let you do it. I am not sure if bullzip in particular handles that option, but having some experience with printing to Excel on a bit newer NAV versions I must say that while result were looking, hmm, almost good, the data structure-wise the output was not the best to work with.
