Navision to mysql web database

Dear all,
I have a question regarding exporting and importing data from navision to a website that is created in PHP and uses a mysql database.
The purpose is a webshop. The latest products are all in the webshop available and can be ordered. But now we are looking for a good way to import the orders into navision. (Our old webshop created an e-mail sended it to a specific e-mail account. Navision readed this e-mail account and added the data to navision.)
In navision on the customer chart we have a button webclient. if we check it the user can order on the web. This system now works with script that gets all webclients out of navision, puts them in a dat file, uploads the dat to the web and a page on the web will import the datfile to mysql.
We are looking for better solutions. Anyone experience with this?
