Is internet explorer enterprise mode supported with NAV 2016 web client?

Hi everyone,
I think that internet explorer enterprise mode is not supported with NAV 2016 web client, because web client is working only with Internet Explorer 10 or Internet Explorer 11 and enterprise mode is emulating older versions of IE. But just in case i am wrong,could anybody confirm the answer please?
