How to Insert/Modify data in a Matrix Page? NAV 2017

I have created a matrix page which is showing items by item attributes, I have been able to populate the matrix with the relevant data, but now I want to be able to use this matrix to change the item attributes by typing into the cells
rather than having to drill-down. Is there a standard way of doing this or an example within NAV that I could be pointed to?

But the idear behind Attributes is new to NAV. It uses translations and predefined values, so your in for a challenge

Could you specify where within G/L Budgets as I have been looking in there but as I am fairly new to NAV it was getting quite confusing.
