Hi

A customer has a report that needs a lot of complex key. The customer will use this report once a year. What the best way to manage the key (without consultant‘s intervention)

Regards

What NAV version? (The newest versions allow 'keys' to be used even if they don't actually exist in the database)

Section is "NAV Three tier"...if it's only a matter of sorting, grouping and summing, you can manage them all in the RDLC Layout itself. If it's a matter of performance (thus, you actually need an index for your report), you can use KEYGROUPS in order to activate(onprereport)/deactivate(onpostreport) a group of keys (but this is probably obsolete since nav 2015)

It means, that you can use Belias's solution. Just put all data, you need, to datasource of report and manage grouping in RDLC.
