I am looking into options of adding a "discussion board" that is linked to a "Case" record in NAV2017. Ideally, I would like to use the new Microsoft Teams chat to do that.
My current thought process is that internal chat should be possible between people inside the company, which is shown as a page (add-in). That way, it will remain linked to that case record, but people in the field can respond through their Teams app on their mobile phone without having to start NAV.
I have found little to no information, however, on how to show such chats inside NAV.
Has anyone attempted such a feat?

Seeing the answers inside NAV is the part where I'm not familiar with.
I assume that you could use a Teams-Bot which uses your NAV-Database.
Teams is based on Sharepoint, so you should also be able to retrieve the current discussion using a sharepoint connector.
