Formating of decimals in fotter - Dynamics NAV 2016

in NAV Three Tier
Hi,
I am trying to create an invoice report with a fotter section. In the fotter section i want to print the invoice total so i have made a variable to fix that. But i am not able to get the formating of the decimal value that i want. I want my decimal variable always to be printed with 2 decimals.
Anyone have a suggestion for me ?

    Hi,

    In Visual Studio right-click the field with total, select Text Box Properties, select Number, then you can either use one of Currency formats, or put your custom format

    I have tried that one but it really makes no differense to the output.

    Are you summing up totals in one decimal variable, but using some other text variable to display the results?
