Problem with the user name in NAV 2015

michaelkmichaelk Member Posts: 11
Hi,

we have two domains in our Company with trust levels between the domains. When I try to create a user from domain 2 on a Computer which is in the Domain 1 so I receive the following username:

domain2\username@fullqualifiedname

Does someone know how I can resolve this issue?

Michael

    Hi Slawek,

I mean, that I receive the username from the function by creating a new Windows user in NAV.

I hope you can understand this.

    Still confused :)

What do you enter in Windows User Name ? Did you get that tring when you click the ellipsis button (...) next to the Windows User Name field ?

    Hi,

I click at the assist button and then I select the user Name in the Windows component than I press OK. The return value is the SID. This SID goes to the .NET function from NAV. This NAV .NET function returns the crazy value with domain2\username@fullqualifieddomainname.

    I hope this helps
