Allow posting date from gets automatically updated.

Hi All,

I am facing a problem on LIVE. It is I have set up the General ledger Setup to have "Allow Posting From" to "01/01/2017". But every month after some processing the date automatically gets updated to the start date of that month like on 15/07/2017 it was updated to 01/07/2017.

Why is this getting updated? I am facing this issue from the start of Jan 17.

Any help would be appreciated.

must be some custom code in "Some processing"

If you have the opportunity you could export all objects as text and look for a place in the code that updates the file.
Prism is a decent application, that lets you look for interactions between the fields in the database.
