Customize role center NAV 2013 R2 windows client

Hello,

I'm looking for an idea. I want to personalize the RoleCenter of the NAV Windows client. I want to make Tiles like this :



This worked only on the Web client.

So I wanted to developp an Add in .NET which can display tiles with images and open an another program when we click on them.
I will developp in C#.

Any idea ?

dont do it. I think MS will drop the desktop client soon.

Thanks and you're probably right but I want and must do it anyway.
