NAV2.0 -> NAV2017 (Ledgers)

Hello All,
Its Friday and a good time to pose a question.
I'm working with a company that is running a mixed version system, several add-ins and mountains of custom code. The DB version is NAV2.0 and they understand there is not a upgrade path, but would like to retain the data. Since 2.0 is pre-(value/detail)-ledger would my options be find the conversion tools from previous version and run ledgers through that? Re-post all the sales documents and then handle the payments, adjustments, etc? Any ideas would be great....
1) I should note the the DB size is under 50gb.
2) They would like to retain all he data
Thanks
Steve

How about creating new tables/pages for that historical data? This way you just need to export/import it but no need to post it. And users can check it out anyway.Regards,Alain Krikilion
