ADO Type Functionality

In a general sense does anyone know if there is something like ADO which can be used to query from within Navision, using Navision Functionality?


The idea being that a web site can get the price information for a customer based on Navisions standard pricing matrix(sales prices, customer code, item etc...), without putting the data into into Navision. Basicaly calling the Sales Journal.Validate function from outside of Navision?
