Unit Cost

The Unit Cost on the Item Card does not get updated till entire Production Order status is changed to Finished. Due to this COGS also gets affected. Suppose Order is released for 1000 units and 100 is completed and Sold. In such the Cost of Item sold (COGS) remains zero. Statistics in the Released production order shows correct cost. Why doesn't it get updated on the Item? What is the solution?
