Print Errors from Request Page

in NAV Three Tier
Hey all,

I'm attempting to print to PDF or Word from a request page for a custom report.

When I click 'word' or 'PDF' nothing happens but the request page closes.

Other exports are working from NAV so I believe the issue relates to this specific report.

What settings or code controls those print options?

    Big shout out to user sbhatbng over on dynamicsuser.net for suggesting that there may be no dataset result generated.

    turns out the filters set on the report lead to a blank report so adobe and word do not open.

    simple solution but it took days of troubleshooting before ol' sbhatbng helped out.
