working of mail codeunit in navision

Hi all,

Can anybody explain me how the mailing feature works in navision?
I mean from which form mail funcion is called
What setting do i need to do to send mails?

You mean the button next to the email adress in the contact, customer or vendor card?

Yes.
I mean after entering all the details when we press finish button what happens. How that mail will be sent to the person. Where can we type the message(body)? When the outlook comes in to the picture.

I mean entire working of mail feature in navision.

The body is a known problem.

Since 4.00 the mail codeunit uses a different automation obect, which can build a custom header (and attach more than one file). Only thing: default navision functionality doesn't use this yet.

If you use the code coverage or debugger, you can figure out where the mail codeunit is called in your case... .
