NAV2013 Implementing Manufacturing Module

Good Day everyone,
I have a customer that is already using NAV2013 for 4 years. Just recently they decided to implement manufacturing module (a new company book). Is there anything to take note i.e. Server specification prior to the implementation? Or I shall say, what would be the guide to calculate the sizing of the database to ensure performance is optimum? E.g. do we take the volume of the transaction per day? How many records? etc.. Appreciate if anyone can help me out on this.
