How to take auto backup in Navision using sql query?

Dear all,

I want to know is there any way to take auto backup(.fbk) of navision using sql batch and then run as a service.

If there is a way, kindly let me know the steps required for doing this.

Why FBK when you can take a sql backup?

My Client want to take fbk as they dont trust in bak sometimes bak is corrupted or its giving problem when restoring. So do you have any recommendations for taking fbk backup.

I don't think you can automate unless simulating key strokes which is a bad idea anyways... SQL backups are more reliable of Nav one and you can verify a sql backup for corruption after it is completed...

For the classic client versions there is this software. Not sure if it can be run from a SQL script, but it can be automated.
