How do I add field data from a table, to an exported file name?

I am working with a table and form which work as import/export engines when objects in NAV are run. From either table or form, the name of an exported file can be specified by text. I would like to have the file name include a field value from another table. I have tried to do this as a variable, but I do not know how to. Is there anyway of including a field from another table in either the table menu or forms menu? If more detailed information is needed, please reply.
