Can anyone tell me the difference between Table 50 "Accounting Period" and Table 10560 "Accounting Period GB"

Table 50 is the "standard" one that comes from the base W1 version of NAV and is used in most of the localised versions but this is not used in the GB version of NAV.
The GB version of NAV uses the "Accounting Period GB" table instead and does not use the "Accounting Period" table5
