Language FR & DE modules for NAV 2017

I could not find any downloads other than for 2016 on the MS site. I tried these with my 2017 install and they do not display. Probably because they install into the folder structure in a folder named 90 and I need them in the 100 structure. Are there any language modules available for 2017 or do I just need to copy the 90 folder structure to my 100 structure?

Mixing versions sounds like a very bad idea. Download the french and german installation kits from Customer Source for 2017.Kyle Hardin - ArcherPoint0

Hi Phil,
Microsoft has moved the downloads section to Microsoft Support site.

Got it all now and installed - thanks for the reply and link.
I am a bit confused why there are still a lot of English words in the screens as it looks like the screens have not been fully translated. IS this normal or have I missed something with the install/setup? I followed the steps on the web page and imported compiles etc.0 -
Did you change the language on the client? See attached.

Phil,
Besides the obvious suggestion by kylehardin, I believe your database does not contain adequate translation.
I think you're using a W1 database instead of a FR or NL. You should then translate your application code (use Caption ML) or merge your application code with Microsoft Localization and translate your specific code (too).
P.S: I do not recommend you to use the same database for FR and NL localizations.0 -
Hi All.
I think need help with this nav2017 language pack.
I have a physical server with Regional Setting Eglish (or German) and I need to have RU-layer.
I downloaded language part from the MS side (it was "main start page" for NAV 2017 without CU) and did all actions from the page "How to: Install Language Modules" (docs.microsoft.com/.../how-to--install-language-modules).
The results:
- received ru-RU language folder in the "..\100\RoleTailored Client\" for Server only and I can't install .flm file (received something like ..scheme changed..)
- when I change the layer for NAV DEV Environment I received something like ?@?@?
- I can't change the language for NAV 2017 WinClient
and question - does anyone received language correctly?Regards,

EN/DE use codepage 850, RU codepage 866, also different SQL collations are employed so these will not merge well into one database without some hassle.
Here is a long thread in German with links and scripts about this endeavour.
