how to manage Word layout based on condition

wicwic Member Posts: 96
hello,
Actually we can manage different Word layouts per customer.

Did anybody try to get same effect but based on a customer group or language code or something more "global".
I want NAV to choose a Word layout based on a language code for example. So I can store my different Word layouts behind one single report in different languages and when printing, the system chooses the right one based on customer language code.

thanx for any inputs.
KR
Chris

    Hi, Chris
Did you find a solution? I have the same issue and don't want to make a lot of different report objects for each Word layout. I hope, that it should be some elegant solution.

You need to find the place in Table 77 and call out to your own function to get the layout from custom layout table

I only use this to control emailbody for different types and language. But the report itself should be made ML!

Thanks, Juhl, but the problem is a little bit wider. I have a sheet of employees, 200-300 records and need to print salary declaration from Word template for all of them once in one file with multiply pages. The problem is that word templates are different for some of employees, it depends on their type of contract.
May be there some features with show/hide pages of Word template during print process?! I'm still investigating for solution.
