Transfer Order???

Hi all,
After i posted shipment at Transfer Order, i found that in table 5741 Transfer Line have 2 records for each Item No.
1. What is purpose for that?
2. What is the usage for Field 40 Derived From Line No. (Table 5741)?

1. If you post a transfer order , the outbound items do not go directly from "From-Transfer Code" to the "To-Transfer code", but into a virtual location, the "In-Transit code". This can be any means of transport. That is the second entry. When the items arrive in "To-Transfer code" you post the inbound movement and both entries are deleted.
2. The "Derived from Line No." is used in conjunction with the item tracking or reservation functions. "Derived from Line No." in the transit entry corresponds to the "Line no." of the item in the transfer order.
